Residents of Tutwiler and Ridgecrest halls for fall 2009 who are participating in groups authorized for early arrival on August 8th or 9th who have not already requested a check-in time will be assigned to a check-in time by HRC staff. Parking passes will be mailed in mid-July.
There is limited on-campus housing available for transfer students. Please call 205-348-6676 for assistance with your housing application.
Online room selection for freshmen is available each day beginning at 4:00 p.m. CST. It is unavailable from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. To assist unassigned freshmen, HRC will make their initial assignment; students may change that assignment online if they wish until July 6.
Students moving into the residence halls must adhere to the University’s policies on immunizations. For more information, please visit cchs.ua.edu/shc/about/immunization-policy.
Incoming freshmen who will not be attending the University may cancel their housing and request a refund of their 225$ prepayment. To do so, please email chewitt@sa.ua.edu before July 1, 2009. Please include your full name and campus-wide ID number.
